Graphic Design
At Explorer Hop a majority of the content was presented to students in the form of illustrations, graphics, games, and videos. My team members and I created over 100 visuals that were used to make hard-to-understand topics such as money management and entrepreneurship, more interactive and fun to get students to engage with these topics.
Since Explorer Hop was a relatively new company we had to create a strategy that focused on our target audience; parents and young people.
Digital Marketing
Through extensive trial and error with posts and advertisements, we were able to determine that engagement increased when we created meaningful content. Prior to these findings, there was very little online presence since social media accounts were only used to promote courses without establishing a true connection with the audience. This led us to create content that would allow us to connect with our followers and showcase what students would be learning.
Social Media Marketing
Email marketing was a highly effective way to market to parents and adults in general since we had a large list of parents and schools that had already given permission to get emails from Explorer Hop. With the introduction of newsletters with monthly themes we were able to increase sales by 30% and help customers through the sales funnel easily.

At ExplorerHop, I served as the Communications Coordinator and Product Developer, creating training courses to equip educators with the tools to teach youth about financial literacy and web currency. This role combined my passion for education and communication to make complex topics accessible to younger audiences.
